Templates

Use team and issue templates to spin up new work with the right structure and consistent task formats. Available in your workspace after you sign in.

Types of templates

Team templates

Create new teams from a template so structure is consistent. Define default statuses, labels, and workflow. Use one template for product work, another for client work, and spin up new work in seconds.

Task templates

Standardize how tasks and bugs are created. Add templates for bug reports, feature requests, or RFCs so every item has the right fields and description prompts. Less back-and-forth, more consistency.

Why use templates?

Templates save time and keep work consistent.

  • Start new teams with the right structure from day one.
  • Keep task and bug formats consistent across the team.
  • Reduce setup time when kicking off new initiatives.
  • Templates live in your workspace and can be edited by admins.
  • Use the agent to create work—templates apply when relevant.

Getting started

  • 1Go to workspace settings and open Templates (team or issue templates).
  • 2Create a team template with default statuses, labels, and workflow.
